Legal

Returns & refunds.

Effective 25 July 2026, based on the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).

Who handles your return

Each item is sold and shipped by an individual seller (artist or brand). Returns and refunds are handled by that seller, with the help of Dezyna (operated by MACOWA (Pty) Ltd). Start any return by replying to your order email or contacting wangamanwatha@gmail.com with your order reference.

7-day cooling-off (ECTA)

For online purchases, you may cancel without reason and return the item within 7 days of delivery for a refund of the price, under section 44 of the ECT Act. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, and the item should be unused and in its original condition. Certain goods (for example items made or personalised to order) may be excluded as the law allows. This will be noted on the product where it applies.

Faulty or not as described (CPA)

If an item arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from its description, you are entitled under the Consumer Protection Act to a repair, replacement, or refund. Tell us within a reasonable time and include photos where possible. The seller covers return shipping for faulty goods.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack, normally within 5–10 business days of the seller receiving the returned item (or agreeing to the refund for a faulty item). The flat shipping fee is refunded where the return is due to a fault or a valid cooling-off cancellation of the whole order.

Wrong size or change of mind

Outside the cooling-off window, exchanges or change-of-mind returns are at the seller’s discretion. Check the size and colour details on the product page before ordering.

Not received?

If tracking stalls or an order does not arrive in the expected time, contact us with your reference and we will work with the seller to resolve it, whether that's a re-send or a refund.
